Our tour guide, Jumpin' Jim (http://www.bostonducktours.com/conducktors_24_jumpinjim.html) was a fun and quirky guy. He seems to really like his job and got us engaged and "quacking" at other ducks. We boarded from the Museum of Science. If you have a GoCard and plan to go on the tour early in the day, there is no need to reserve a spot online... more

Other than Fenway this was the highlight of our trip. Capt. Covert was the best, loved, loved, loved his schtick. When we hit the river and he blasted "my song" I was in heaven. We see alot of Broadway in New York so we know a prepared entertainer when we see one. Don't miss his land/water production, you won't be... more

The Boston Duck Tours seem to be one of the most popular tours in the city. Our driver was very knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. That helped a lot during the dull moments of the tour such as the seemingly endless ride on the Charles River. I would have prefered to spend more time in the city and less time on... more

How this tour became the no. 4 attraction in Boston, I'll never know. I like tours and touristy activities. But this one was fair at best. I guess your enjoyment level depends, in great part, upon the personality of your driver. Mine was just fair. The engine of the amphibious vehicle is very noisy, and it is very difficult to... more

The Boston Duck Tours offer a fun and exciting way to see Boston. The "Duck" is a unique vessel that acts as both a bus and a boat, taking passengers along the streets of the Back Bay, Charleston, etc., as well as exploring part of the Charles River. Many of the ducks have survived since World War II!! Each tour... more

Before I begin, I feel that I should state that we are not much into organized tours. That being said, we have taken a few tours in several cities and decided to book this one based on the reviews. First of all, we booked the tour at the Museum. We chose the next available tour which was at 4:30 PM.... more

I recently went on this tour with my girlfriend (both mid 20s) and we were both disappointed. The tour is about $25 for adults and lasts 90 minutes. As a first time visitor to Boston the tour was certainly a useful way to orient ourselves within the city, but if you are looking to learn about the rich and interesting... more

I've wanted to do some sort of amphibious city tour for a while so when I found there was one in Boston I had to do it - as I've already done a normal city tour when there previously. Plus I was going in summer so it would be great weather. You can board at the Museum of Science or... more

You have to do the Duck Tours when you are in Boston. They are $29 and worth every penny. It is a great way to see a little of everything in a very unique vehicle before you take off on foot on on the T. more
