The Brewery tour, which leaves every few minutes, is well worth the T ride. They ask that you donate $2, which they donate to Boston based charities, and it is well worth it, but if you are truley a cheapskate you could do the tour for free. We enjoyed the tour immensely. We learned a lot about beer and got to drink some excellent Sam Adams Octoberfest. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids, but for two adults, this was a great time. We took the T there and back to the hotel which made it really easy. more

I toured the Sam Adams brewery in December of 2005. What a great experience. The brewery is just a short walk from the T.
