I would like to agree, and politely disagree with the prior post. First, the disagreement. I did not get the same welcome feeling as the prior poster. As we exited the car, the male of a couple that walked by mentioned loudly to the female that he "sure knows there are a lot of cops around today". That sure didn't... more

Jeez this place is small! But it's filled with all kinds of neat Poe memorabilia. You can see a piece of Poe's coffin along with hair sample from both Poe and his wife Virginia. China and crystal from John Allan's estate. Virginia's death portrait--kinda creepy. I think the curator was there during my visit. Didn't seem at all "anxious" but... more
