I made this one of my stops during my Baltimore vacation and wasn't disappointed. Wandered around the sculpture garden while waiting for the museum to open. It includes a cell phone tour but I did not partake. Once in the museum I checked out the new Photography special exhibit. Coming from Rochester, NY where we have the George Eastman House... more

Plan to have lunch. This is where the locals go for a great meal. The museum is free. more

I spent two delightful days at the Baltimore Art Museum and I can attest to its excellence. I not only enjoyed its terrific Cone Art Collection(Renoir,Matisse,Picasso,Kirschner,John Graham),I also its Old Master paintings very much(Raphael,Master of View of Saint Gudule,Rembrandt,Poussin,Frans Hals,Guardi,Corot,Couture). I also saw its splendid collection of Contemporary Art(Andy Warhol,Alice Neel,Robert Motherwell). In addition,I appreciated early American paintings by Washington... more

Had read that the Cone Collection was impressive and that is true. Wonderful Matisse, Fauvists, and some Impressionists. Were very helpful to my brother who is handicapped. Provided a new wheelchair we could use during our time at the museum. more
