The ship models are amazing! The museum building itself is beautiful and should not be missed. It is not a large museum so it does not take a lot of time, but it is worth it. more

I was fortunate to visit the Savannah Maritime Museum whilst working in the United States this summer. The models on display were magnificent and very informative. I was delighted to see an oil painting of a British Clipper Ship named'The Bidston Hill' hanging upon the wall. This ship was built at Birkenhead by John Laird and Sons and is named... more
