The jazz was outstanding! It is very difficult to find traditional jazz venues in New Orleans and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a high caliber of musicians at this cafe. The food is average - good but not gourmet. Go for the jazz, not the food. more

As jazz-music lovers and Belgian gourmets we can realy advise to book an evening in the Palm Court. Wonderfull music and typical food. The service and atmosphere were great. Top musicians with the best piano-player you can find. The audience (Italians, canadians, belgians...) was delighted. Very beautiful and clean space. more

Similar comments to other reviewer - a great 6-piece dixieland band the night we were there; a fun, "authentic New Orleans" atmosphere (at least to our group of out-of-towners); but lousy food, much of it uneaten by our party. And unfortunately, that was the "taste left in our mouths" on our way out the door. more

I was there just last week. The music is wonderful, could not be better. However, the food and service are terrible and really needs serious working on. The entertainer they had there (I forget her name at the moment) was wonderful. They could have a real gem here but needs work. more
