Lucky for us we were there on a vog covered day so the beach was only 25% populated, usually it's packed which could lead to having a poor experience there, or so we're told. I was there the first week in March, 2008 on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Despite reports from other reviews and books, Wednesday is not necessarily the best day to go. What a beautiful, unique place. Thanks to the preserve, there is no development in sight and it instead looks exactly as nature intended it.
