The “Arènes de Nîmes” date back to the end of the 1st century AD and is a perfect illustration of the degree of perfection attained by Roman engineers in designing and constructing this type of extremely complex building. “Arènes de Nîmes” are the best-preserved Amphitheatre from Roman times. Visitors can discover two new areas reserved for gladiators and bull fighting. Open to visit 7 days a week (except during the ferias).
