We stayed here for 7 nights from 12th June - 19th June. Of all the rooms available there were only 3 other guests at Candles for most of our stay so we enjoyed the liberal use of the well maintained kitchen and dining areas. Air con/tv/ensuite all fine too. Couldnt really be in a better location - literally a 3... more

Staying in candles in the wind feels as comfortable and cosy as being in your own home. It was a warm, open environment, we met lots of friendly people there and slept as peacefully as we did in our own beds. The management is very helpful and gives service that really goes beyond what you would expect or receive in... more

This is a really nice house, convenient location, clean rooms - all the basics are there. But the most important thing is that Andrew, the owner of the guesthouse, is the most helpful guy! Me and my boyfriend didn't plan the holiday very well and I'm glad we ended up in Andrew's place. Definitely recommended for budget travellers! Yulia more

Me and by best friend Emelie stayed at Candles for 13 nights, March 2008, and absolutely loved it. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; close to some of Tobagos best beaches such as Pigeon Piont and Store bay. Shops, restaurants and everything else you need is just around the corner. The area felt very safe... more

I stayed at "Candles" for a week while in Tobago for a wedding. To start with, a great location. Walking distance from a great beach, eating, and basic shopping. 25 minute walk from the AIrport, but you'd never know it - its quiet and peaceful. I never used the kitchens but they looked clean and well-equipped. My room was clean... more
