We stayed here during our last night of our 12 days trip in Japan in April of 2008 and it was the best hotel we stayed at! We actually used our Marriott points to stay here so it didn't cost us anything. That's why we didn't really have high expectations for this place, even though the hotel pictures on the... more

I usually don't spend my time writing reviews, but wanted to compliment the staff and let people know of The Courtyard Marriott Ginza. This hotel lived up the positive reviews that I read here before going on our trip. We often stay at Westin Tokyo, but we had points at Marriott so decided to give it a try. At $250... more

Love this hotel, we booked 2 rooms and spent three nights there and enjoyed every minute of it. Great location, close to trains and also walking distance to some of the sights. You cannot go wrong with this selection. Nothing to complain about and if someone did, they must have been in a bad mood when they stayed at this... more

We stayed there for 2 nights. I have to say, the hotel is ok, it's clean and relatively nice but it does not meet the Marriot standards. The room was very small, we had some problems placing our bags somewhere. The bathroom was also very very small, a taller person could not take a shower standing properly. Breakfast wasn't that... more

The room is comfortable, despite the small bathroom, and there are tea and coffee facilities. Your room key (card) should be used in the elevator and automatically brings you to the right level. Internet is free at the business office in the basement but the PCs are in Japanese only. We tried to print but you have to pay (20... more

This is a beautiful hotel w/ small but sleek, modern, comfortable well-equipped rooms. The neighborhood is expensive and the staff seemed cold, almost condescending, not warm, inviting or overly congenial, especially compared w/ other service personnel we encountered in our 1-week stay in Japan. Both of the rooms we had on the 8th floor suffered from poor bathtub drainage resulting... more

This is a newly renovated hotel (was a Renaissance property a few years ago). Very nice and clean, but TV selection very poor (no english). Not crowded at all; small and easy to get around. Subway station 2 blocks away, and walking distance from Tsukiji fish market and Ginza street. more

I don't usually stay at Courtyard Marriotts back in the US, however this one was great. The best I've stayed at. It's more like Marriott's next level of hotel (the regular Marriott Hotel, I guess). Had everything you have in other Marriotts. This makes it a bit soul less. I could have been in Indianapolis, Houston or, in this case,... more

We just got back from a great weekend getaway to Tokyo. Our stay at the Marriot Courtyard Hotel in Ginza was fantastic. It was so nice to return to the hotel every evening after a busy day in and around Tokyo. We stayed 3 nights overall at the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient despite the late hour. We... more

RC Jensen Date: 20 June 2008 Trip Adviser Member, London UK In many aspects, this hotel was not what I would generally expect from the Marriott group of hotels, but then again the Courtyard hotels are at the lower end of the group range and my sneaky feeling is, as the Japanese name of this hotel implies e.g. "Tobu Ginza... more
