This was our 4th visit to the Hawksbill and it did not disappoint us for our 40th wedding anniversary. And yes, we did get a bottle of champagne and card from the hotel. Our last visit was 10 years ago and we were concerned that it had changed ownership and gone all inclusive which we had never done before. Our... more

I highly recommend Virgin, or other airlines, early check in if you can do it. We checked in the night before at Gatwick, dropped our bags and were issued boarding passes so the next morning could go straight to the departure lounge. In Antigua the Virgin rep came to the hotel, picked up the bags, issued boarding passes leaving us... more

We have returned to the Hawkbill ten times, and we have never been disappointed. This trip was just the two of us to celebrate 30th anniversary. On previous trips we have gone with extended family - up to thirty of us. We love it at Hawksbill. If you like a laid back vacation, and uncrowded beaches, this is the place... more

If you are looking for a place to get married in Antigua then the Hawksbill should definitely be your choice. Having heard about weddings abroad being a bit like a conveyor belt we were a little nervous to say the least. We had no need to worry; it was everything we hoped for and more. Vanessa the wedding co-ordinator is... more

I have just returned from a week long break at Hawksbill and it was superb. It was booked as a surprise for my wife to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to help make it just about perfect. They happily arranged a few special requests for our arrival and then on the actual... more

Very pleased. We stayed there for four days and loved the chilled-out atmosphere. Guests were mainly middle-aged English couples (who seemed particularly attracted to the nude beach), but that meant we had better access to the the non-nude beaches and beach equipment! In terms of beach quality, we drove around the island, visiting many of the island's beaches and the... more

My husband and I decided on the Hawksbill after reading many reviews on this site and we were very happy with our choice. Upon arrival we were greeted with mimosas and cold towels, which was a pleasant surprise. We were then taken to our beach bungalow, which I was a little disappointed in at first. It was a row back... more

Just come back from this resort. My wife and I had a great time and the most chilled holiday experience in many years. The staff were almost all delightful and some exceptional. This resort is set in 38 acres of wonderfully kept gardens and Sylvia Henry's tour will tell you all you would want to know. There are many small... more

We stayed at this resort for 2 weeks in April and had a brilliant time. We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and she saw so much wildlife it was an amazing experience for her. There was a pelican who came every day twice a day to fish, humming birds, octopus, pigs, goats, mongoose, it was like having your... more
