My husband and I stayed at Trade Winds from 23 May til 8th June 2007. We had a great time there. and What a view from the balcony! We booked the trip direct as is was cheaper. We sorted our own flights out which made it cheaper than going through holiday companies! Because we have friends who live in Antigua... more

Tradewinds Hotel in Antigua is nice enough at first. My room was large and had a view of the sea from the balcony. It was clean and well maintained. Pool and deck are very nice as well. The problem is noise. Presenlty they are building a new sun deck and the construction noise went on during the day and they... more

This hotel and staff were excellent! We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and fun. The only staff we found a little unfriendly were the girls at the front desk. They really need to smile more! more

I wanted to like the Tradewinds (where we stayed for a week), but can give it no more than an OK rating. It has a nice situation on a hill with good views, and the grounds are lush with tropical vegetation. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was quiet - most of the other people... more

Stayed at Trade Winds as a one night stopover on way to a Windjammer cruise. Room was large and clean with a gorgeous view of sunset over the ocean. Drinks on the patio were generous. Warning! 2 planters punches will set you free. Dinner also on the patio under a full moon and breakfast the next morning were romantic as... more

Me and my friend stayed at the Trade winds Hotel on the 12th May just for 1 night as we had been St Lucia for a week and got a flight back from Antigua and decided to stay in Antigua just for the night. We got a Junior Suite and it was a lovely room really spacious and we had... more

Just got back after spending two wonderfull weeks in fantastic Antigua! We wasn't really sure what to expect from the hotel as the reviews were limited and rather old. This hotel has 55 rooms of which 45 are solely booked for British Airways for stop over cabin crew per annum. This is not a problem, if anything it gives you... more

Tradewinds is unusual in that it’s not on the beach but if you’re not on a beach holiday that’s not a problem. In compensation, the hill top setting gives sublime views and the huge rooms have vast terraces, looking down over lush greenery to the brilliant blue and white of Dickenson Bay. The walk down to the beach is not... more

Trade Winds Hotel is located on top of the hillside looking out on and over Dickenson Bay. The hotel layout gives all rooms great views and amazing sunsets to watch. Rooms are spacious and airy so that you don't feel trapped. You have your own private balcony to enjoy the views and sunshine. The rooms come with ceiling fans as... more
