Myself and fiance booked our wedding/honeymoon at the Tamarind a year ago after recommendation from a friend. After reading a few negative reviews we were slightly apprehensive about our choice of hotel but I am delighted to say that apprehension was totally unfounded. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and walked out of the reception to very... more

prior to leaving we had read the reviews about poor food and service in recent months, but we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was,the service could be a little erratic at times, but this is the carribean! attitudes are more relaxed.the rooms were clean&tidy and the grounds were beautiful, the beach was clean&safe, with plenty of space.the only problem was the... more

Just had an excellent week's holiday at the tamarind cove with wife and 2.5year old daughter. Facilities and staff were great, and service was surpisingly good, in stark contrast to some of the negative reviews below. OK service could be erratic at times, but this is Barbados after all, and the staff were by and large charming (I have experienced... more

We have just returned from a holiday at Tamarind Cove for the second year running. The reviews we read before going were a bit worrying and very mixed but, as we had had a good experience the previous year, we went ahead and booked again. Sea and Beach : The hotel is in a beautiful peaceful location with a good... more

We had a most enjoyable stay at Tamarind Cove - and which has probably one of the nicest positions on the West Coast ( apart from Sandy Bay Hotel about 600 mtrs away). Excellent food and service (although it can get a bit slow depending on the Maitre 'd of the sitting) Most of the dining is in the Tangiers... more

We are a family with a 7 yo child and we stayed for 5 nights in Tamarind Cove after spending 3 nights in Hilton Barbados. The premises are nice, the beach small compares with Hilton. The big problem is the food. We had all meals included but we went most of the time outside for dinner ( Sandy Lane, Tides...).... more

I read all the reviews before booking our vacation at Tamarind Cove. The reviews were worrisome and although they were interestingly accurate, they give an exaggerated bad review of the hotel. Room: We booked a junior luxury ocean suite. It had marble floors, a four post bed, fresh flowers upon arrival, a pull out couch bed, two walk in closets,... more

My family and I travelled to the Tamarind Cove, Barbados in Sept this year. We travelled there to get married. We have two children, a one year old and a six year old. To say we had a fantastic time would be an understatement. The hotel is a little gem tucked away in a beautiful setting. The grounds are absolutely... more

Booked a luxury ocean view Jr suite, room on arrival very nice but thunderstorm shortly after we arrived turned the bathroom into an indoor swimming pool. Moved to equivalent suite which while the bathroom was smaller the main room was large and spacious with 2 walk-in dressing rooms and a large 4 poster bed. Many people at the hotel were... more
