Spent 3 nights at the Yellow Bird Hotel while on a diving holiday in May. Conveniently situated within walking distance of most attractions at The Gap and a perfect base for exploring the island from. Large airy room with balcony overlooking a small bay (ideal for watching sunsets). Catering facilities available in the room . Although overlooking a bay it... more

We arrived by taxi and knew immediately that we'd made a great choice in hotel, the view was amazing! We were greated warmly and show to the room by a friendly member of staff. The room was decorated simply and had the best self catering facilities we'd ever had, a bit dated maybe but all functional and everything you could... more

I stayed at the Yellow Bird for the 1st time this year & thought it was an excellant hotel, it is reasonably priced & so you get what you pay for - no frills!! If you want luxury then you need to book one of the bigger hotels. It may not have any frills but it is clean & the... more

Think this hotel just about has it all, EXCELLENT location for bars, near to main road for transport (but no traffic noise), the friendliest most helpful staff that I've ever met. Our room was clean and serviced every day with new clean towels. The view from the balcony was of pure torquoise blue water and the food and service in... more

We had read about 'a few noise problems' so we emailed ahead to request a quiet room. On arrival, staff were friendly and we were given our 'quiet' room on the side away from the club. We fell asleep after a long flight from London, and woke up at midnight, listening to VERY loud music from Jumbee's- the club next... more

I just got back from traveling to Barbados, St.Vincent and Bequia. I spent a Saturday night here with my husband. We actually booked thru the helpful tourist help desk in the airport about an hr. before our arrival at the hotel. We were warned that it could be very noisy, and the front desk checking us in took us to... more

We stayed in this hotel for two weeks and although we where a little aprehensive having read the reviews about noise, although it is a little annoying it did not spoil our sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was wonderfull. The accomodation was basic but cleaned every day with fresh towels and every member of the... more

I went to the Yellow Bird at the begining of November 2007 with my two girlfriends, we found the service to be excellent before we even left since all our queries were answered by the lovely Geeta via email. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly, especially Roddrick and the girls in the bar! We organised all... more
