I can be very short about this hotel. We booked a room with 3 beds. They only had 2 and they were crap. One of us actually had to sleep on the floor!! I guess that says enough about the servicelevel.... Avoid this place! more

The Tejadillo is unusual. You arrive via a run down street with people hanging around. Then you walk into a really nice hotel. Stayed for 1 night. I wouldn't go back or recommend it. The hotel looks lovely from the outside and the courtyard is pretty but the room was a damp,musty cupboard with no windows. Freindly and helpful staff. Rooms nice and clean, no toilet seat (we are in a poorer country that ours remember). Breakfast is ususal but okay. Excellent location. WE decided to leave Varadero for the day and ended up staying overnight. This is the 3rd hotel we tried in Viejo Havana, everything was booked...They wouldn't take Visa, cash only.. so have to run to the cash exchange before it closed..
