Really nice hotel. Great spacious and clean room with good decor. Good pool... on the harbour where you can catch the boat to the Lime Cay isle (great beach)... walking distance to Port Royal Historial area (amazing fish cafes and cheap local shop) Other than that it's fairly remote from other things to do. But peaceful. Hotel food is very... more

I am in receipt of your letter stating your concerns regarding your billing details. I apologise for the misunderstanding that may have transpired. I am currently in posession of the bill you received upon check out. The information that you posted on tripadvisor was a bit misleading as the US$71.61 was your total balance which included food and beverage charges,...

We stayed for a Saturday night, prior to leaving Jamaica from Kingston. It is the closest hotel to the airport. The location was great; right on the ocean and a 2 minute walk to the ancient town of Port Royal. It is one of the few places in Kingston where it is safe to walk at night. We went out... more

Let me first apologise for the disappointment that you may have experienced. We have noted all your concerns and are adressing them individually. We are currently in the processed of installing clock radios in all our rooms. All our suites come with iron and ironing boards and we have made provisions at the front desk to satisfy that request from...

Hotel, stay here! Nice, people are nice, charming remnant of an older time in the Caribbean. Older yes, but nicely fixed up. Not your glass tower and sanitized hallways, the old Caribbean, but cleaner. Courtyard was nice, did not use the pool. Food at the bar was good, bartenders were attentive and helpful. Room was clean and spacious with a... more

Had my flight not been cancelled, I cannot imagine when I would have discovered this interesting and beautiful area. When leaving Kingston Airport, it is in the OPPOSITE direction from any where you might have had in mind. Very helpful airport attendants aranged my stay at Morgan's Habour. In keeping with the historical theme, the place looks like a pirates... more

Spent 2 nights here. Room was very nice and a great price. Port Royal was interesting and watching the harbor traffic with a cold Red Stripe was relaxing. Dinner both nights was outstanding and we found the people to be genuinely warm and welcoming. Took the boat to Lime Key and enjoyed sun, sand and sea. We would definitely recommend... more

Taking the advice of a previous reviewer, my husband and I booked three mid-week nights at Morgan's Harbour, avoiding the weekend noise. I loved this place. I must say, my review might have been a bit different had I stayed in the older wing of the hotel. I took a glimpse at one of their Executive Suites on the 400... more

Hi, I have gone to Jamaica dozens of times over the past 30 years. This area was a first for me. I found this spot by a local who decided she didn't want me to stay (single white female) downtown Kingston lol. I thank her. This hotel was very nice. It had nicer accommodations than I am used to staying... more

Morgan's Harbour is a nice place to begin and end your visit to Jamaica. It is about 10 minutes from the Kingston airport, on the far side of Kingston harbor, with a beautiful view of the city and mountains. The hotel is walking distance to the town of Port Royal. It is about a 30 minute drive to downtown Kingston.... more

From the outside it looks idyllic, summing up the pirates and bucanneers atmosphere of Port Royal perfectly. The staff were friendly and there's a superbly located bar and restaurant on the waterfront with a wonderful view over Kingston Bay and the Blue Mountains, even better at night. On the downside, the rooms were pretty basic and faded to say the... more

It is time to put some time and money into this hotel. The amount that is paid for the rooms and any little extras, can help take care of some of the upgrades. You don't need much. Some of the rooms are great, but some need work. The amount of time that I have spent in your hote was okay,... more
