I am married to a Jamaican woman and have traveled to Jamaica several times within the last few years. I have to say that I had one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in Jamaica at the Mayfair hotel. The front desk associate was very rude to us upon our arrival. My wife called the hotel early one morning... more

The M******t, H*****y Inn or H****n it ain't, but for peaceful respite from the busy city areas, excellent staff and reasonable rates two of us found it pretty d**n good in March 2004! Certainly if going to the area again, I'd have no reservations about staying at The Mayfair. It seemed secure, and easy-going. Some rooms better than others maybe,... more

I and my friend spent 4 day's in Kingston and stay at the Mayfair Hotel the service there was so wonderful and the people that run it are so spectacular. I would not pay high prices and not get the service you are looking for when you stay at a low budget Hotel and get all the wonderful service...I'm seeing... more
