Just spent one night at the Frangipani, whilst our son was away with his grandparents in St. Vincent. Our welcome was made special by the friendly lady on reception. We got the room next to the roof terrace overlooking the sea.....a wonderful view in the morning. The room is basic, theres no a/c and it has shared bathrooms, but for... more

I reserved one of the original rooms at the Frangipani. Upon my arrival, I was nicely greeted and shown to my upstairs room. My room faced the ocean with views of the bay beyond. I believe there are 4 original rooms upstairs that share a large balcony (which was outside my room and the room across the hall). The balcony... more

Frangipani's is over rated. Yes its quaint, yes its a lovely location, but the reception you get leaves alot to be desired. I've stayed there a few times - in the original rooms - the rooms are very clean and adequate but the bathrooms are shared. The staff are not at all friendly, they can be really very rude particulary... more

We just spent 5 lovely nights at the Frangipani. It's a wonderful property in so many ways. Excellent first impressions are critical, and the front desk staff was up to the challenge. Check-in was a breeze, and we were quickly shown our room. We had booked a deluxe garden room and were given #15, which likely had one of the... more

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at the Frangipani and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We intended to stay at the “Fran” after a charter catamaran cruise and at another Inn before the cruise. However, after the other Inn lost our reservations the ladies at the Fran came to the rescue! The Fran is a... more

We returned to the Frangi in "Rainy-Season"... Oct / Nov 2006... for two weeks in the lovely quaint "old rooms". Being off-season... we had the pick of rooms... and Lou booked us into Room #4... the largest. It has a little more noise because it overlooks the bar... but if you're not going to bed before 11:00 it won't be... more

The Frangipani Hotel-Is simply the best place to stay when you are in Bequia. It is located centerally and can be breathing taking on arrival. A little of the spanish riviera and hint of the french but you will also find the rugged scottish infulence. That has been here for over 400 years. The seat of activity for fun and... more

I had been waffling back and forth between wanting to stay in town and wanting to stay at the beach at Lower Bay and opted for staying in town on our first visit, especially since we were only there for five nights. I booked a Deluxe Garden room at the Frangipani, which was located at the top of the property,... more

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in June in the A/C Deluxe Unit and couldnt complain about a thing! The manager, Lou, arranged a taxi for us on arrival at Bequia Airport and helped us with advice on the Ferry to St. Vincent. The room itself was wonderful with a great view of Admiralty Bay. It had... more

Stayed at the Frangipani in August with my wife and we found it definitely a great place to stay. True- it is very basic with shared bathrooms (two showers and two toilets) but nonetheless it is very clean and cosy. Much Better than many other so-called "class" hotels. Additionally, staff is extremely friendly (which is not usual at all in... more
