I am a single woman and visited the snakepit, based on the photos i have seen and the reviews i had read. I had heard bad things about the area down there before but i took my chances. The place itself is beautiful. Obviously there has been a lot of time and effort made to make the place just adorable.... more

We wanted to go somewhere we could find some peace and beauty. Having booked a flight to Grenada, we looked around on the web, and found that Carriacou, an island in the Grenadines, looked beautiful. Then we looked around for self-catering accommodation. We found the Snakepit! Despite the name, Cobra could not have been more welcoming. A mine of information... more
