My partner and I stayed there for 8 days. It was probably the best hotel experience we've ever had traveling. There are no bells and whistles here... just a basic B & B. This is a bed and breakfast that is a nice quiet place and very reasonably priced. You are only going to St. Thomas for the beauty or the jewlery. Hotel is located in downtown Charlotte Amalie, up a number of stairs (proprietor will help carry luggage). Parking is difficult on weekdays if you have a rental car--there is no hotel lot or garage. We stayed only one night at the Galleon House and were impressed with the owners and staff and the clean, comfortable room they provided. Not a luxury hotel by all means, however well maintained with some nice views over the city. We would stay at this hotel again. Be prepared to walk up hills to stay at this hotel. more

This is the best little secret in St Thomas. Walk to the St Johns/Tortola ferry or anywhere downtown with your luggage. Short taxi ride to the airport.
