We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children aged 11, 10 and 7. Having spent a week in Disneyworld we came to stay at Coral Sands for a bit of rest and relaxation. We found the hotel to be excellent but the prices to be very steep, but quickly discovered this is a theme of the... more

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon in Harbour Island, staying the entire time at Coral Sands. I can honestly say without question that the staff, facilities and views were amazing. We spent eleven days there and could not have been happier. First, the staff provided me with as much help as I needed to secure a golf... more

What a wonderful experience. Soft pink sand, white stucco buildings with warm interiors. We went with our then 2-year old and they treated us like royalty. The food was amazing. We ordered tantalizing dishes, but the best was my daughter’s mac and cheese. Seriously!!!! It was out of this world. Lucky girl, I tried to sneak as many bites as... more

I just returned from a week at the Coral Sands Hotel, Eleuthera and I have to say that I returned somewhat disappointed. I have been to the island maybe 15 times now but this is the first time I stayed on Harbor Island. The Island and the people are beautiful and everything you could want for a great vacation. I... more

We wanted a nice long beach weekend. The beach at the Coral Sands was one of the best we've seen and we have been to some fine resorts in the Caribbean. They should have staff serving drinks on the beach and by pool. The Coral Sands hotel lacked good service. The staff seemed to have the attitude of not caring... more

While the pink sand beach upon which the Coral Sands Hotel sits is indeed magnificient, the hotel leaves much to be desired. Service is perfunctory at best, nobody goes the extra mile, and you pay through the nose for EVERYTHING! A cup of ice at the beach bar, milk for the baby's bottle, coffee refills...and then they tack on a... more

I have just returned from a 6 night stay at Coral Sands with my family (wife and 3 kids, ages 13, 6 and 4). Harbour Island is a nice, small, tipical caribbean 'old' Island. There you can find a sense of reality of what the caribbean may have been years ago (that is from my point of view a clear... more

Let me start by saying that I have traveled to just about every island in the Caribbean, I've been all over Mexico and Europe and the U.S., Tahiti, South America...let's just say that I've seen a LOT of beaches and resorts. I've sailed throughout the Caribbean. The beach in front of Coral Sands (and Pink Sands, which happens to be... more

I'd mostly agree with both the positive and negative reviews about the Coral Sands Hotel. The common areas were impeccable and nicely decorated, but you could definately tell that, when it came to the rooms, the renovations must have taken place at light speed and by a nearly-blind person. Paint splatters on floors and tiles in bathroom, doors not properly... more

Let me start by stating that Harbour Island possesses one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen throughout the Caribbean. It even rivals Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos! One would think such a desirable location would merit top-notch accommodations, right? Sadly, this is not the case. Our loft room at the Coral Sands was small. Very small. No television... more
