Do not stay here..I am from Los Angeles. I got married at Bajamar last year. One of my guests was a victim to credit card fraud. her bank investigated and confirmed that it was done at Bajamar. I contacted Bajamar discovering that they had fired two crooked fraud thieves that worked in the reception desk. They are a bunch of... more

We've been visiting Bajamar twice a year for several years. Unfortunately, this was our last visit to Bajamar. A member in our party of eleven golfers was robbed of his wallet while asleep in his hotel room. This was a serious breach of our personal safety. The crime was immediately reported, yet the "security/police" focused their attention on the victims... more

My husband/I and our friends have gone a few times in the past. A few years ago- it was okay. It is MORE than slipping. The last few times the food has gotten worse, pool basically a hole with dirty water, thus the wives stopped going. However, the most recent time all 4 husbands' credit card info was stolen and... more

Warning: do not use your credit card or debit card at Bajamar. There is a confirmed fraud ring there. Myself and two other guys used our cards at this place for the golfing and it was only time we used our cards in Mexico. Everything else we paid cash. So this was the only place that could have stolen our... more

We went to Bajamar for a wedding and had a great time. Here's the problem: Three people in our group had their credit card information stolen. A coworker had been there a few weeks before and also had his card number stolen and used. I'm not suggesting not to go there, but if you use a credit card get it... more

Pros - helpful staff, very clean rooms, ask for a room with a view, make the stay that more worthwile. This hotel is mostly for golfers. However, we found it nice because it was away from it all. Nice grounds, and the resturant is good too! Cons- Mattress is very hard, decor need updating. Other than that a very pleasant... more

Don't bother. Probably the worst golfing trip ever. The golf course was understaff and unprofessional. Not accomodating and extremely short with explanations. There were 14 of us and they tried to make us play three 4 some and 2 some. When asked why, they replied because that is the rules. Only after polite persuasion, did they allow us to play... more

Hated the hotel we booked (New Port Beach Hotel), so left there and searched for another place to spend the night. Found Bajamar and paid only $15 more than our original hotel...and the Bajamar was ten times better! The beds are pretty hard and my husband and I ended up with two doubles due to the short notice. If you... more

We have stayed at the Hacienda Bajamar three times in a year and a half. The beds are hard (we brought our own air mattress), the service is generally slow but the wait staff try as hard as they can. One must have patience. Relax and enjoy the wait. The golf course was in tough shape one visit (probably helped... more

Hi My husband has been to several golf tournaments at Bajamar over the past few years. He has always stayed at the hotel when "with the guys". Two years ago we decided to do a "couples" weekend, and upon checking on reserving more than one room, the hotel recommended that we rent a "house" instead. For just barely more than... more
