The best feature of the hotel is it's location right on the Malecon in close proximity to a bunch of restaurants, and tourist shops. It is a fine place to stay overnight, but not a destination hotel. I paid $86 (including tax) for 2 double beds with street view, for my wife and 2 kids. We stayed on Dec 29th.... more

Nice place, quiet and clean. The staff is nice and kind. The pool is small but good enough. It has only few rooms in front of the sea. However, the hotel is right in front of the Malecon and the sea. The restaurant is good. The parking area is small. Good for families and people that looks a quiet place.... more

we chose the Hotel Perla because of its history. By baja standards, it was reasonble. The rooms were clean and not too modern. The pool was clean and cold. Staff seemed indifferent. We paid $95 USD. The restaurant downstairs was poor. the room was quite quiet and beds mediocre. I think Steinbeck slept on ours. more

Jorge and his staff here are great. The restaurant on site was consistently good, and the location supurb. Small but nice pool and a great upper sundeck. We will return here. more

La Perla is what I would call a downtown motor hotel. They do have secure parking but it may be limited and it is crowded. Centrally located and very comfortable, this small hotel caters to a large tourist community. They specialize in a family atmosphere so party people should look elsewhere. My seven day stay during a white season cost 490.00USD more
