We just stayed 3 nights at SAFI. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the stuff were very polite and welcoming. There was always someone who spoke English. The restaurant was not bad at all. The pool was a little small but beautiful. We really enjoyed it. Only thing we did not like is the location of the hotel- it is... more

I have stayed 3 times at this hotel , and to be fair with them, if the second weren't been bad ... I should grade them like excellent. The rooms are spacious, with bathtub, nice bed, air conditioner (very important in Monterrey), total privacy, nice lobby and reasonable good food. The hotel is beautty at the end of the day,... more

This is my second stay at Safi and I really enjoy the staff of the hotel. Everybody is pleasant and go out of their ways to assist you. The majority of the staff speaks English. The rooms are spacious and the inner yard is relaxing to look at. The hotel is minutes away (by taxi) from the Macroplaza (with the... more

I stayed at the Safi Hotel Dec. 26-30th and it was in every way an enjoyable stay. The staff were not just polite, they were overwhelmingly friendly and always greeted me with a smile. Though I only ate at the restaurant once and ordered room service once, the service was A+ and the food was pretty good. I stayed in... more

I recently returned to the Safi after several months absence--I have stayed here at least twice a month on business for many years. I was not disappointed. The Safi family and their staff were wonderful, as always. Many times I avoid hotel restaurants but not this one--very good food with attentive service. I am always impressed by the level of... more

As a world business traveler, I usually check TripAdvisor first to help me choose a hotel. So for this family vacation to Mexico, I did the same. The previous review was pretty accurate except that I did not find the rooms so "plain" - it is just typical Mexican architecture. In general, the hotel is very beautiful and refreshingly different... more

My wife and I checked in late but the service was excellent no sleepy staff as with other late night check ins. Our valet Pedro was corteous as well as fast with our services. He also always had a ready smile wich made me feel welcome. Even though we spent most of our time with family and only slept at... more

I have to agree with all of the great reviews about the service, although I will say that the English capabilities are not that great (not as bad as my Spanish though). This hotel is not for everyone though as it is not in the best area as far as food and entertainment. It is only a few minutes away... more

On a return flight from monterrey, I spoke to someone who reconmended the Safi. I normally stay at the Sheraton or the Intercontintal hotels. These hotels are expensive and are what you would expect to find in a large city. I decided to give the Safi a try. It was 1/3 of the price which scared me somewhat but once... more
