“Changing-not for the better”

Used to love this hotel for the beach club amenities, but.... A recent stay was not pleasant (July 2008). At the time of the reservation, the hotel did not state a change in costs/policy, and I was charged per the new policy. Also, I witnessed a transaction and then smelled the substance, which was being smoked by a hotel guest.... more

I just stayed the night at Casa Yalmaka'an (I was told it means paradise on earth in Maya) and wished I could have stayed longer. I am not an Acapulco fan per say but had to go on business and on my final night wanted something different. A travel writer friend recommended I try this out and I'm very happy... more
