For 6 years we have had a fantastic time at the Luna Palace, this year was not the same and we will never stay there again. The pool has fecies in it and sewage the entire time. Here is our stay in a nut shell. I will say to there credit they are refunding out entire stay for us and... more

This was our first time travelling in Mazatlan, and well... we got what we paid for. The first few days were great, good weather, the buffet was serving good breakfasts and dinners. One bad thing was that we werent allowed to check into our room until 4 and we arrived at the hotel at noon. After a few days of... more

We stayed at Luna for 1 week in Jan 06 and it was great so we went again for 2 weeks in Jan 07 and it SUCKED....paying almost $4000 all inclusive and they ran out of booze daily and having to go buy our own booze to drink on the resort to eating the same cold, runny food day after... more

Our trip took place the week before Easter Weekend. We had been planning a family vacation (kids 8 & 11) from the beginning of the year and decided on the Luna Palace because they offered a one bedroom suite and it looked family friendly (not catering to the Spring Breakers). This will probably end up being a long review but... more

We went to this hotel last week and I wanted to share a few things with my fellow vacationers. The web site has a few misleading details. The food was fair to par, the activity staff basically sat on their asses all day (we played a couple games of Mexican Bingo and 1 game of darts) that was it, no... more

The omellettes were great and never any lineups and the clubsandwichs hit the spot perfectly when the beers werestarting to flow and when we were on our beach we had a styrofoam cooler full... more

I just returned from one week at the Luna with my five young adult daughters. We had a great time and the service was the best I have ever had in Mexico. Not only did they never run out of alcohol but the drinks were quite strong. The food was average for Mexico but if you didn't like what was... more

Just returned from Luna Palace. Stayed 10 days. The place is a 3 star hotel and lives up to that standard. If you want 5 star go to the Sea Garden or Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. Never once did we see the bar ever running out of alcohol, in fact, they were very well stocked and the bartenders were always... more

We've just returned from a two week stay at the Luna Palace. We were reminded by RCI that the Luna Palace is a standard hotel, and were a little concerned about what we might experience. We were delighted to find ourselves in an old but beautiful hotel, obviously built as a luxury hotel. Our room was incredible. It's one of... more
