We have rented other houses in PV, some even with chefs on-site, and this was by far the best we have experienced. So, here's what I have to say about the Casa Anita.... overall, a pretty good place to stay. The location is actually pretty great, because your within a pretty easy walk to the main part of viejo vallarta (which, by the way, is way better than the centro vallarta obnoxiousness), but your removed enough to feel removed from the noise... more

Don't expect the huge pool nor the peace and quite of a water front location but do expect a simple hotel with good amenities to take care of you while you just need a rest after a busy day. Our stay in Puerto Vallarta was wonderful. We stayed in Corona 5, which is classed as a studio but is really a one bedroom unit as the bedroom is about 5 steps up on a separate level. This was my 6th or 7th return to Casa Anita. It is safe and homey, and I love the staff there. All rooms are clean and comfortable with Mexican flavor and fabulous views of the Bay.
