We had the greatest time at PDS. The entire staff was great and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable there. You do not need to speak Spanish there but it does help. This is a 4 star resort that is undergoing changes to become a 5-star. The staff is 5-star: very helpful, always friendly, etc. The hotel design is beautiful, old Puerto Vallarta style. The rooms are nicely laid out. Some have great views of the ocean while others have a balcony where you can see the ocean off in a distance.... more

Here is an above average+ PVR resort hotel. There are some things about this place that's truly better than most anything in PVR ie.Location,views..other things on par with the better places, clealiness spaciousness, and the rest is basically about what you'd expect at a nice place.
