We loved staying here - the view is incomparable, the room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was great. We felt very safe and well attended. The bathroom was quite spacious and included a Jacuzzi tub (Superior room). For our next stay, we would probably opt for a room with kitchenette and balcony. The only option for dining... more

My husband and I just returned for the Villas El Morro on March 8/08. When we could not book a room online with the travel websites due to unavailability, I booked a standard room for one week directly through the hotel owner. When we arrived home we were shocked to find both our credit cards had been charged a second... more

We arrived to ‘El Morro’ late and not in the best mood. The staff at ‘El Morro’ was waiting for us and they were very nice. They helped us unload the luggage for 16 people, then we had a great meal with a great view of the bay. Overall, we had 4 very clean bedrooms After we were accommodated my... more

The location couldn't have been better! The villa's situated in the hills overlooking the bay and Zihuatanego. We enjoyed awesome views from our balcony and typically started the day with a dip in the swimming pool. On the top floor, there is a hot tub offering an aerial view of the area. The town is a short 10-15 minute walk.... more

We had a memorable stay last January in this smal hotel, which offers the most beautiful view of Zihua bay. No matter where you are in the hotel (room, pool, sun deck, restaurant) , you always have a spectacular view of Zihua bay.Edouardo and his staff are very helpfull and customer oriented. Everything is clean and well maintained. There is... more

We enjoyed our stay. We booked at the last minute and then extended our stay so we had to change rooms twice but that wasn't a problem for us. It is at the top of a hill - hence the fantastic views- 172 steps down to the level of the town, plus however much more depending on which room you... more

A very friendly, small and personal hotel. Far enough away from Zihua to be quiet (especially for Mexico), but only a $3 cab ride from downtown. Lots of charm and a great view. The staff took lots of pride and care in their work and left fun surprises in the room each day. Be ready to walk, but it is... more

We just reurned from a four day stay (April 25-29) at Villas el Morro in Zihuatanejo. My husband, my sister, and my mother all found Villas el Morrow, Eduardo (the owner) Esperanza and all ot the family and staff to be delightful. There is no more spectacular view in Zihua than that from the terrace of Villas el Morro. They... more

This small hotel sits on a hillside with a spectacular view of the Bay of Zihuatanejo. And that view is the high point. It is a small, three-story hotel that opened in 2003 or so. Only about ten rooms. My wife and I generally are not difficult people, but this was our experience: Only the bedroom is air-conditioned. On arrival,... more

We just stayed at this hotel in Zihua. It is across the bay from all the other hotels, which brings three advantages: being able to look at all the pretty hotels, the sunrise and shady afternoons. This is a small hotel, and the owner, Eduardo, is on site every day. It's pretty basic, but there are suites with kitchens available.... more
