This hotel is designed in an international style hotel that feels like circa 1965, though someone told me it was built much more recently. There is nothing mexican about it. On a recent business trip to Guadalajara I decided to stay at the Country Plaza because it was one of a few hotels that had a room. Thankfully the hotel turned out to be very nice. This hotel is on a main street, but in a fairly upscale residential area. The rooms are nice and the employees are great. There is a private parking lot if you have a car.
