We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Mexico City. The location can't get any better, right at the Zocalo area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, internet available, great restaurant below, good housekeeping services and comfortable rooms with balcony. There was some traffic noise, but not enough to keep me up all night. more

Before I did my booking on this hotel, I was searching on the webpage tripadvisor for a hotel in Mexico City. At the beginning I had some doubts in choosing Hotel Gillow due to its position on the webpage. However let me share with you my magnificent experience. When I arrived to the Hotel Gillow, I had a warm welcome... more

I highly recommend this hotel, for it´s excellent location close to the main square in Mexico City, and also for good prices and service. The hotel restaurant is also great offering varios dishes at good prices compared with other hotels in the area. more

We stated at Hotel Gillow the week of a family wedding in Mexico City. We got a suite for 4 of us for the week and it was pretty big (two rooms with bathroom between and a sitting area). This hotel had large, clean rooms at a very reasonable price. Some with patios and great views. The noise was not... more

This is a good choice if you want to be in the historic center of Mexico City. You are within walking distance of most all the sights including the Zocalo, Alameda Park, Giribaldi Square (a long walk), and various close subway stations. I would recommend this hotel to the traveler who wants a hotel that is a step up from... more

I usually stay at the Gillow when I come in late off a flight and don’t have a booking. They always seem to have rooms available. I don’t stay here on longer visits, since the centro historico is dead at night. Rooms are large and a bit dreary, but comfortable enough if you don’t mind quite a hard bed. Staff... more

We stayed here for 12 days; part of the time, there were 4 of us and the rest just two. We had a great room with a separate bedroom and plenty of space. The staff were fantastic, the management helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were right on the money, their assistance on the smallest details was always there. The price was... more

The Gillow was well located, on the corner of Isabel la Catolica and Cinco de Mayo about two block from the Zócalo. The area felt safe with a heavy police presence especially during the day and we walked back from a taco place off Madero around 11:30pm/midnight with no problems. We were on the third floor unmber 302 on Isabela... more
