This is a good choice if you want to be in the historic center of Mexico City. You are within walking distance of most all the sights including the Zocalo, Alameda Park, Giribaldi Square (a long walk), and various close subway stations. When I was still in France I tried to book this hotel by phone. The women told me that there were no availability. They gave me the phone number of Hotel Canada where I booked. The Gillow was well located, on the corner of Isabel la Catolica and Cinco de Mayo about two block from the Zócalo.
