Just back from a pleasant week at Las Golandrinas. We didn't book in advance, but were able to get a room that was very clean, light, and pretty, albeit right outside the cafeteria, so a bit noisy in the mornings (But we got up early anyway, so it didn't matter to us.) The gardens were very pretty, though they are... more

For our first five nights, my friend and I stayed in a room on the second floor with 2 single beds, which cost about $52 US. It had natural light from both sides of the huge and airy room, which made it a pleasant and bright place throughout the day. The maid service here is great (they fold every stray... more

After reading all the rave reviews, I really thought this was the place to stay in Oaxaca. Firstly, I would like to underscore the positives... It is owned by a retired engineer who could not be more gracious and welcoming. The rooms could not be cleaner, the small garden is pleasant and some of the staff very helpful. The security... more

We emailed the hotel to make reservations which was simple abd easy to do. They replied fairly promptly with confirmation of the reservation. The hotel is a no frills place- it is clean and Quiet place, our room was in the courtyard before the Breakfast courtyard. The flowers are so lushious and beautiful....the thing that strikes you about this place... more

We spent the week prior to Christmas in this friendly, clean garden hotel. The individual rooms are clustered throughout the garden and both the rooms and grounds were clean and lovely. Free bottled water is provided. The staff was friendly and responsive. The hotel is 10 minutes from the Zocalo and is convenient to museums and restaurants. The breakfast cafe... more

The staff were very helpful. The hotel has a lot of services onsite: breakfast, internet, laundry, book a driver for the day or a small tour group to explore the valley. The room was very very clean, and not small. The bed was a regular double. not luxorious, but very good value for money. more

I stayed at this hotel during the September low season. There are plants everywhere and some of the rooms are spacious. We were close enough to have a brisk walk down to the zocolo, but far enough to be tucked away. However, after unpacking in one single room, I noticed giants ants coming out from the bathroom ceiling. I informed... more

We found this little hotel to be pleasant and comfortable for the price. It was attractive, the staff were hospitable, and the breakfasts were good. The only problem we had was that we were in a room facing the neighboring property/street and it was pretty noisy at night with the music more

It is an excellent little hotel, cheap for the quality you get. Do not expect anything fancy or luxurious, yet it is really clean, and the host is very nice and welcoming. Breakfasts are delicious. The location is quite convenient, close to Sto Domingo. Recommended!!! more
