We had been traveling around Mexico Belize and Guatamala and ended up here as our last stop. It felt like the last word in luxury. Clean white towels everyday. Clean sheets, great shower, lovely bathroom and large comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and helpful and the property is lovely. There is a small pool surrounded by a walled garden... more

We stayed in this hotel for a week in April/May 2007. It is simply one of the best small hotels I have found in Mexico. The rooms are clean, airy and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a continental buffet breakfast that is included in the price and can be taken in the kitchen, or the courtyard.... more

From the moment we walked into La casa de la tia Tere I knew that I would feel right at home. The hotel is in a beautiful colonial building with a gorgeous courtyard which serves as the dining room. There is a lovely swimming pool and garden. The rooms are very clean and spacious with simple regional decour. The owner... more

This is a lovely hotel in quiet location about ten minutes walk to the Zocalo. The hotel has a whole bunch of amenities: - nice rooms (not huge but clean and friendly) - great breakfast in the courtyard - free internet - swimming pool - sameday laundry service (reasonably priced) - very friendly and helpful staff - free bottled water... more

This hotel is run by extremely helpful and friendly people. The room was clean, large, pleasant and close to the pool (which is ice-cold, but refreshing). The hotel is a little far from the centre, but good value for what you get. There is something a little spare about the garden (why don't they fill it up with plants?) and... more

We stayed at Casa de Tia Tere during Dia de los Muertos. It's location is ideal, walking distance to the Zocolo & Santo Domingo but in a quiet part of town. Great value, especially at low season rates. Our room was one of the best (Camellia) & one of 4 rooms that I would recommend- 2 large rooms each on... more

We arrived in Oaxaca city at the end of a long day of driving from Taxco, in the twilight, in a pouring downpour. La Casa de Tia Terre had been recommended in Lonely Planet and on TripAdvisor so we checked it out first. First of all, the streets in Oaxaca are small and narrow; the houses and B&Bs crowd the... more

My girlfriends and I just got back from Oaxaca where we stayed at the Casa de La Tia Tere Bed and Breakfast -- we had a wonderful time. The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly. I recommend it highly to anyone who's planning a trip to Oaxaca. Is located centrally, offers a continental breakfast everyday in... more

My husband and I have just come back from our ten-day long trip in Oaxaca and we are enthusiastic in recommending this place to anyone. Since my husband speaks good spanish, he got to know almost everybody working for this b&b very well, including Lily, Rocio, Nadia, and Fabrina. Every one of them was extremely helpful and they went far... more
