The Parador San Miguel was the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. There was someone scrubbing the steps or polishing the windows or dusting the floor all the time. Our room was rather small and did not have a window to the outside but it was very quiet and very tastefully decorated. The hotel had a wonderful Mexican atmosphere and... more

I cannot compare Parador San Miguel to any other hotels in Oaxaca because in five trips I have never stayed any place else, this hotel is home for us. As all other reviews have pointed out, it is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. And the location could hardly be better, just a block and a half from the zocalo. What makes... more

We decided to stay here after reading all the great reviews it got on Tripadviser, and we were not disappointed! The hotel is every bit as charming as it looks in all the photos here, and really, we can't think of anything negative about this place. The location is perfect (just a few blocks from the zocolo), the food is... more

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and could not find one thing to complain about. The staff were very friendly, the food in their restaurant was great. It was extremely clean. Our room was two double beds, shower, TV, wardrobe, coffee table and two chairs. We shared this room with a teenage son and pre teen son and were... more

Location is great - about 2 minutes to the Zocalo. Expedia rate of $55 gave me an interior room with window onto courtyard. This meant there was hardly any noise at all. Inroom safe, cable TV, ironing board and iron, amenities items. Good shower and bathroom. Bed comfortable and room well-cleaned. WiFi in hotel but also a computer in reception... more

The location of this hotel is excellent. It has thick walls and remained reasonably quiet despite it's central location. The hotel seemed to always have someone available with at least rudimentary English skills. One very polite desk clerk was pursuing a university degree in English. The Spanish spoken was also of high quality, and I understood everything said to me... more

We located this hotel through the TripAdvisor and my wife and I met my sister and her husband for a week away from winter. We found our rooms spotless and attractive. The staff was most helpful. The staff was seen constantly upgrading and maitaining the facility. The meals that we had were fresh and tasty and attractively prepared. more

We two seniors arrived in Oaxaca after a week in Mexico City. This was our first time in Oaxaca, although we have travelled extensively in Mexico. What a beautiful city! The Zocalo is a joy. The Parador San Miguel is extremely well located - we walked to all the sites of interest. The hotel is on a busy street and... more

My fiance and I were in Oaxaca over Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 24-27) to plan for our wedding there next year and I can't say enough good things about the Parador San Miguel. It is a beautiful little hotel in a perfect location (about a block and a half from the center) with all the amenities you'd want...from a/c to hot... more

Nice hotel in a great location. Very clean! Very friendly staff and restaurant is good. My only complaint is the price...I went during a high season-Dia de los Muertos and paid $120.00 a night. While there are cheaper hotels in Oaxaca I was not upset that I paid that money because I felt I got my money's worth...but still a... more
