We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! We arrived in mid-August and expected to wait in line until 3pm in a lobby with no a/c as so many previous guests have stated. Granted there was no a/c but when we arrived at 1:45 we were able to check in immediately. The hotel is very eco friendly and only had... more

We found a last minute trip.Due to a tight budget we found this to be a clean and inviting hotel ( we had two double beds and a Belcony). There was security there. It had a nice pool off the restaraunt . The court yard was neat well groomed and beautiful, it was cozy and private. Many out door beds... more

Good value for the price, quiet hotel, rooms were exceptional, fantastic beds, clean. Good for people who like to explore downtown area, close to good restaurants. Food was disappointing but staff wonderful. No entertainment but given the price go explore. Also within walking distance to Plaza 28 a worthwhile place to visit. Easy and cheap to bus to the hotel... more

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that after just spending 5 days at the Omni America I was very satisfied. The hotel has undergone extensive renovation, and is very much a boutique style hotel in the downtown area. We loved the service, the food was great and the room was acceptable. It is downtown, but they... more

I stayed at this hotel in december of 2007. This Hotel is not bad only lacking in some areas. Restaurante food was repeated for seven days and there was no buffet as mentioned in the program. Menus are wriiten only in english and lot of travellers asked the waiters dfor assistence and they did not speak english. Quantity very bad.......most... more

This is one of the worst experiences I've had since going back to Cancun. It doesnt pay to save money if you want to have fun spend extra and stay in the Hotel zone. The staff seemed very racist as if they had a problem w/ me and my friends. Also they changed there policy daily on us, one day... more

Stayed the weekend of Jan 12 to 19 2007. Well where do I begin. This place by any means is NOT A RESORT, plan and simple it's a HOTEL. If anyone pays more then 1000$ including taxes PLEASE listen to my advise and spend a few hundred more at a nice RESORT. If you find a deal under 900$ and... more

It is unfortunate that the information on the hotel was not reviewed prior to travel. This hotel is represented in all venues as a Downtown Hotel with beach club access to Oasis Palm Beach or Oasis Cancun. For a fraction of the cost of a beachfront hotel or resort, you can enjoy all the amentities at this hotel along with...

OKAY ....... Like Tyter from Texas.... I also just recently returned from OASIS AMERICA however!! I have to totally disagreeeeeee with his review.... Perhaps his review would be helpful had he took the time to truly experience the resort (rather than going out all the time) and by purchasing the all inclusive, rather than paying for meals My age range... more

Thank you for your kind remarks. This hotel offers so much more when using the all inclusive option. So many choices with the Oasis Runaway, many people truly miss out. Glad you got the full experience!

We just got back from staying in Oasis America, Cancun. We paid about $750 USD, room only, for 7 nights by booking thru Cancunfirstclass.com. For what we paid during peak, it was decent and clean hotel. It is located in downtown, and the hotel zone and all the beaches are just a 6.50 Peso bus ride away. It is also... more

It is unfortunate that you did not get the full Oasis experience. While the all inclusive seems limited at Oasis America, the inclusion is all the restaurants and bars, pools, beaches, discos, etc., at three other Oasis resorts all located beachfront. With the Oasis Runaway, when traveling on an All Inclusive package, you can enjoy more than 20 restaurants and...

My friend and I just returned from this hotel, and after reading all of the negative comments were extremely nervous about what we would find when we arrived. I have to tell you, it was EXCEPTIONAL. The hotel itself is beautiful and the service there was better than its sister hotel, Oasis Cancun. Oasis America's employees were attentive and helpful.... more
