My husband and I stayed here Apr.14-21. I had no complaints about the hotel itself. The service was great, the beach was fantastic, which is the main reason why I chose to stay here, after reading these reviews. There is a strong undertow, so I would probably not recommend this beach for small kids. We are not picky eaters, but... more

The beach here is beautiful! The staff was wonderful! The beds, not so much. What is it about beds at hotels in Mexico?! The food was so good - Lots of variety every day at the buffett. There is only one reservation only dining room - it's Itialian - the ambiance and view there is awesome, but the food is... more

We just returned last night from Cancun. We had a great time and the food was wonderful. The staff is excellent and the hotel is spotless. The staff is constantly cleaning. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The construction going on on either side of the Park Royal did not bother us at all. We stayed 4/22-4/27 and were on the... more

This was a clean, if rather dated, resort a little dwarfed by some of the more modern large hotels along the strip. We arrived at late at night only to be told that it was ALL INCLUSIVE that it was MANDATORY and that we had been charged from 12pm, before we even got on the flight!! If this is the... more

Beautiful Beach. Beautiful views. The hotels are situated between waht used to be a large area of shrubbery, but now, the resort is actually in the shadow if the Westin resort. The resort was amazing, the staff were EXCELLENT!! The rooms where nice, fresh and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job!! The food at the buffet was good, a... more

Super friendly staff The Park Royal tries very hard to make your stay pleasurable! The hotel is clean to a fault. The over use of improperly diluted bleach is frightening. Upon my arrival to our room I washed my hands. A few hrs. later I noticed that my shirt was bleached white at the sleeves and ruined. I'm sorry I... more

My husband and I went to the Park Royal for a 5 night 4 day trip on March 18th. The weather was wonderful: warm, sunny, clear blue skies, and although we were worried the place would be filled with spring breakers, this was not the case. Oh sure, they were there, but it was filled more with parents with young... more

If you are looking for a great value for your money, this hotel is for you. One of the cheapest on the block amongst the all-inclusive, the hotel actually delivers great service! Room: splurge and get yourself a presidential suite - completely worth it. The oversized balcony with the private tub is worth the upgrade alone. Food: the ala carte... more

We booked this trip on Orbitz about 6 months ago, when evrything else for Spring Break seemed to be booked up. Considering that, it was very reasonably priced and a great value. They have only 1 sit-down restaurant, 1 buffet restaurant, a snack bar (burgers, hot dogs, subs, nachos, etc) and put some stuff out on the Veranda at various... more

My boyfriend and I are in our early twenties. We stayed at the Park Royal Hotel at the end of January! We upgraded our room for an extra $40 a night to a presidential suite. It was amazing. Had a beautiful room with a hot tub on patio that looked over Caribbean Sea. Amazing. worth every penny. Was a bit... more
