This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to in my life. I have been going to the Cancun area for 15 years and have never encountered such a horrible hotel. Horrible service upon check-in. Horrible room that smelled like mold. We walked 20 minutes to find a bar that was open to get a beer... more

Obviously there are a lot of bad reviews on this hotel. As two people who never judge a book by its cover, we decided to give this resort a try. Let me make your decision making process a bit simpler. First; If you are over the age of 18 by all that's holy do not stay here. Second; If you... more

This was the worst experience ever, none of the resteraunts are air conditioned only your room has a/c and it sucks. The food is AWFUL and at the buffet there are flies everywhere..very disgusting! They tried to scam us by upgrading our room ocean view with a romantic lobster dinner for only $150.00 usd., so we did and then we... more

We just returned from 3 nights at the Oasis Cancun. Two females 60 & 62 yrs. Friend female 46 & 2 daughters 16 & 18 were there for 7 nights. I was kind of scared because of all the bad reviews, especially about the noise & the drunk young people. We were in room 2662, top floor facing the lagoon.... more

We just returned from Mexico on Tuesday. Since, I originally booked my trip for this specific resort, i will leave a review under this resort's name. Please do yourself a favor and believe all the bad reviews you are reading and these are my specific reasons: We arrived at the Oasis Cancun at approximately 12:30 p.m. I specifically asked my... more

Oasis Cancun is the largest hotel in Cancun with beautiful grounds and pools, but not really a great hotel for a romantic getaway. I liked that my fiance and I were located in a beach front building that is designated for people 25 and over. There were a lot of young people whom I could see being loud and obnoxious... more

This was our first visit to Cancun, and I have to say, we will not stay at this hotel again. Even though we are over 50 and expected the crowd to be predominantly young and looking to party, we were not expecting the loud screaming and hollering throughout the night. Here is how I would rate this hotel: ambiance -... more

The biggest question you must be asking yourself after seeing a majority of these reviews is; "How does this place stay in business?" Fair question. Its one of those questions like why is the show "According to Jim" still making new episodes and "Arrested Development" got canceled after 4 seasons. My impression after staying for 6 days was that this... more

My husband and I stayed at the Oasis Cancun on July 11-14, 2008. We are both 35 and well traveled. The trip was a reward he won from his work and was booked via Orbitz. Based on the prices I’ve seen on Orbitz for this place, I think it’s an excellent value for the money. I am very big on... more
