If you are looking for rest and relaxation this is the island to stay. My husband and I booked this place through our timeshare for our anniversary. Just got back from a week here and it ranked top of all of the resorts that we have ever stayed at. The service was incredible! Staff was friendly, helpful and could not do enough for you. We arrived at Villa Vera, wiped our feet on the dirty bath towel that serves as doormat to the lobby, checked in, got an immediate time share "hard sell' which we cut short. We discovered that the private water taxi to the private beach was "missing a part" and therefore out of service so we'd have to hire and pay... more
