Hola, I'm sad that I had to leave Casa Serena so soon. I will certainly go back some day. Steve, the owner and host, welcomes you into his lovely home and makes you feel like you are part of the "island family". We really enjoyed the evening happy hours. It gave us a chance to meet other guest's and hear... more

What's not to love about a B & B that immediately makes you feel like a local? And folds your towels into different animal shapes each day? And tempts you to the rooftop with Happy Hour margaritas so you don't miss a single sunset? I could go on, about the over-the-top breakfasts, the original art work, detailed directions both to... more

I stayed with my relatives and friends here to celebrate my brother in laws 50th birthday. The website that showed this place were lovely but everything exceeded my expectations for the week. The rooms are truly lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the cocktail hour on the terrace at sunset -spectacular views and the wonderful extra's all made our stay so enjoyable.... more

When my girlfriend and I staggered off the Isla Ferry at 7:45 pm after a non-stop 3 1/2 hour flight which made a 12 hour day, we just mentioned the name Steve to the ferry baggage guy, he threw our stuff into a cart, and we took off after him for a couple of blocks, to the Casa we'd seen... more

Casa Sirena is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful, happy hour on the roof is a blast, and the location is great. Steve makes sure each guest is having a great time and is full of suggestions of what to do and where to eat. The breakfasts are ridiculously good and... more

April 18, 2008 White Bear Lake, MN USA We recently returned from a 7 night vacation on Isla Mujeres where we stayed (we were treated better than a family member) at the Casa Sirena. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of waves arriving on shore from Cuba. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was a delicious combination... more

My husband and I stayed at Casa Sirena for the last 4 nights of an 8 night vacation to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were going to spend the whole time in Playa del Carmen, but we saw the reviews for this place and decided to alter our plans a bit. So, the only reason we came to Isla was... more

When we returned from our stay at Casa Sirena, we were so relaxed! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the owner of the hotel Steven works hard to make his hotel the perfect combination of style, warmth, and relaxation. The hotel rooms are gorgeous and also very comfortable. I was so glad that we had stayed here! My husband and I... more

This is a small boutique hotel and in my opinion, the only place to stay on Isla Mujeres. Absolutely fantastic in every way! Steve is an "outside the box" type thinker so he and staff go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and unique. Mornings are a "take a picture of the goumet breakfast" and Steve's Happy Hour... more
