We stayed at Paraiso from Feb 27 thru March 3, after shopping around the entire area, and actually staying at another place for a night. I highly recommend it for all the following reasons: 1- set on the most beautiful beach in all of Tulum 2- set back far enough from the beach, restaurant and bar/club that we didn't hear... more

The Hotel had been renovated since it's last owner back on april, 2006... I foud new mattress, nicely painted , cleaned rooms... I staryed there two years ago and I was amazed at the change... The restaurant (Nuddy Beach club) is no longer part of the hotel... so guest have courtasey chairs but not for the beach beds... so expect... more

We stayed at Zamas down the road and went to El Paraiso every day to sit on their beach. The beach is outstanding at Paraiso and the beach bar is also really nice...good food and drinks and moderate prices. They do charge you $2.50 a person to use their beach chairs, though.
