the hotel is beautiful and tasteful- simple and elegant, but NOT WORTH THE PRICE. The service was TERRIBLE. When we arrived we were brought to the wrong room, and then made to wait because it was still being cleaned. After we finally got in and unpacked, the woman came back up to tell us she was sorry but we were... more

I heard about Coqui Coqui from a couple of friends from ny who stayed at Coqui Coqui Tulum last summer. Actually is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Only 7 rooms, every single piece is a charming detail! Rooms are romantic, perfect furniture and fine textiles. mosquitos curtains and a wonderful sea breeze entering the rooms...... more

We just returned from Tulum, and it was an incredible vacation. Coqui Coqui is a breathtaking property, and should absolutely be visited if you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing and relaxed atmosphere. (**Avoid Tulum, completely, if you are in the mood for late nights, loud bars, spring breakers and resort-style service and accommodations! I can't stress this enough!!**) The... more

We stayed at Coqui Coqui between 18th and 21st Feb. Pros The lobby and room were beautiful. The interior design/decoration gave a feel of serenity and relaxation. The very long bath tub made for a very relaxing time. My husband is 6"2 and felt for the first time that the bath tub was made for him! The beach is beautiful... more

We were excited to stay at Coqui Coqui because it looked small, beautiful and to be a special spot in Tulum. Understanding that there are always a few problems in Tulum, what we encountered at the hotel with the higest price in Tulum was astounding. The single largest complaint I have is that the rooms have ubelievably poor ventilation. The... more

This being our 6th trip to the Tulum area we were very excited to try Coqui Coqui. As this was a place we had often walked past and admired for it georgous facade. Unfortunately upon arriving we were faced with the fact that it is truly a facade. The rooms and lobby are beautifully decorated but the physical beauty did... more

Coqui Coqui Spa/Residences is run by a delicious argentinian family who manages and takes care for every single guest. We wanted to know something more about Coqui Coqui, so... more

I have recently returned to the UK having spent an incredible week at the Coqui Coqui spa in Tulum. Beautiful place and beautiful people. Connie who runs the property is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She is assisted by the wonderful Sylvie, Santiago the chef, and several other people who really do take care to offer the... more

Coqui Coqui is a small, boutique hotel midway through the Tulum beach road named after the sound of Puerto Rican frogs. It is an Argentinean family owned villa/spa that really subscribes to the motto “mi casa, su casa.” One really feels at home at Coqui Coqui (read in the common area, have a home cooked meal, get a massage at... more

My wife and I just got back last night from our trip. I want to thank you for all of your help in getting us to Coqui Coqui. It is by far the best experience I have ever had on a vacation. The staff, Connie and Juan, were beyond friendly, ever eager to take care of whatever was needed. The... more
