I did extensive research on small, intimate and cozy cabanas near Tulum and decided on the Om. I could have had a free week at a luxury spa/resort in Cabo, but liked the vibe of the place on their website and decided to pay for a stay at the Om. Boy am I glad I didn't go to Cabo, the... more

We booked OM for 5 days not realy knowing what to expect due to the different reviews. I'm happy that we went... We stayed for three weeks. First of all Tulum is a great place and a fantastic location to plan your trips threw Yucatan. About Hotel OM..... It was just perfect. The most important reasons for me to be... more

First of all when I got there I didn't get the room that I expected ! I got the garden view instead of the ocean view ! Then when I got to the room it was discusting and it smelled in the bathroom. The beds are cheap and the mosquito's screens with lots of holes. In the back there is... more

I was at Om for 5 nights in May on the second half of a 10 day vacation to Tulum. Location: The hotel is on the south end of the beach and is less populated (not that any part of the Tulum beaches are crowded). I recommend a car if you stay at any hotel on the south end-a cab... more

I booked this place because of all the positive reviews on the site but it was way below our expectations. It was way overpriced, first of all, for what you get, and the place is beyond disorganized, even though everyone is very sweet there. When I arrived, I had booked an ocean view room through the hotel website and of... more

This hotel is on a gorgeous beach, and the staff are sweet and so wonderfully helpful and nice! The rooms are really, really big, and there are two large beds in each. However, the rooms could be so much nicer with just a tiny bit of effort---the decor is pretty horrible, with these nasty fake suede bedspreads and cheap Indian... more

I just return a couple of days ago from Mexico. I went to Playa Del Carmen and Tulum... Aaaahhh.... Tulum!! I can die now because I saw paradise! What an amazing place! There is no big hotel around, just small ones! There's nearly nobody on the amazing beach. You can walk for miles!! I ran every morning and I went... more

This is a brand new eco hotel on the beach in Tulum. I went there for New Years this year with a big crew, sight unseen, and was properly suprised. This place is fantastic. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Go for the fish steak. Seriously. You'll thank me. Massimo - who runs the place - is incredibly accomodating,... more
