I decided to have my wedding at Quinta Loreto and it turned out wonderful!!! People from all over the US came, the rooms are modest but who hangs out in their rooms when there is so much to do in San Miguel. The location of the hotel is wonderful! I did not have to worry about relatives being bored since... more

The grounds are very nice but the rooms are not the best. The Toilets do not flush properly when they do. The shower was very low water pressure. The soap was the size and as thin as a quarter. Towels very old and thin. Sheets are old and gray. There is no AC. I am sure there are much better... more

My family and I wanted to visit San Miguel de Allende during the Holy Week celebrated just before Easter. We had friends who recommended that we stay at Hotel Quinta Loreto. Great recommendation! Although the hotel rooms are not aesthetically impressive, the rooms are large, there is ample parking, and the location is very convenient to the largest concentration of... more

Lonely Planet gave it an okay review. We left after a couple of hours in a blinding thunderstorm to get away. Smelled of sewage, toilet didn't work, dirty, awful beds, etc. Tried the restaurant. While I let my dogs in my kitchen, I'm not too thrilled when there are dogs in a restaurant kitchen. Maybe there is another part of... more

The room was small, stuffy and had a bad smell. The room was like a cell. The lighting was terrible; there were no lamps. The overhead fan hardly worked. The bed was hard. Pretty bad. more

I stayed at the Quinta Loreto last month for one week. The location is great and the rates are very reasonable. It came recommended. What I found was that the rooms were "OK," (I needed no TV or phone so I had one of the cheaper rooms), the service was passable, it was great that they have parking, but the... more

We made reservations here because the reviews were good in Frommer's and TA. Plus, we stayed here 10 yrs ago and had a pleasant experience. I have to say, the location and price are still great. It's a 5 minute walk from the Jardin and for $50/nt, it's hard to beat. However, I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of... more

This was my second stay at Quinta Loreto. Both times I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. If your looking for luxury, this is not it, but the rooms are fine. There is an attached restaurant that has very good meals at affordable prices. They also accept dogs, which is great. They are located within walking distance of... more

Although the staff at this hotel is very kind, and although it's in a pretty setting, well-located, surrounding a courtyard of flowers and parrots, our room in this hotel was near the kitchen and was extremely noisy from 5 AM onward. The room was clean, but the furnishings/bedding were outdated and kind of depressing, and the plumbing had some issues.... more

With donkeys wandering by my balcony with loads of earth for the local gardens, Artisans right in the market at the front gate, being awoken by the sounds of church bells (sometimes seeing a Nun hitting the bell with a plank) walking distance to the Jardin, Belles Artes, Parroquia and down town - I found this hotel perfect. My room,... more
