We stayed at this resort for most of our honeymoon. We liked that our room was so large! It had a kitchen with most things you'd need to cook. I liked the large patio- I ate breakfast there every day and watched the surfers. The resort was pretty empty, so we almost always had the pool to ourselves. The pools... more

I used one of my timeshares for a trade while in Cabo this December, and that is why we picked the Misiones. I had been to the property once to eat at the beautiful Italian restaurant that has a view of the arches about 4 years before. But when I returned this time to stay at the hotel, the property... more

My wife and I picked up a week at Misiones del Cabo a couple of years ago. This was our second visit and we were pleased that everyone at Misiones is working hard to maintain an otherwise underfunded property. The staff is super! Maria, at reservations, booked us into a wonderful one-bedroom in building seven. Jose and all the desk... more

When booking this type of facility, we use vacation rentals by owner (vrbo.com) so that we can select the exact unit and pricing we want. Because we are dealing directly with the owner, surprises are few, and details can be worked out prior to arrival. We stayed in a one bedroom condo on the 4th floor. It had a beautiful... more

We just got back from a week at Missiones through an Interval trade. I was petrified due to previous reviews, and this being our kids first time out of the country. When we first arrived, we missed the entrance three times, which if you know the traffic in Cabo (being all one way), became frustrating. The sign is missing letters... more

Booked at Misiones through Interval international. The Book from them has this property listed as a 4-star & we were told that this place rarely if ever opens up. Once there the grounds were very nice and the pools were nice as well. The room we ended up in was in a little dis-repair. We had a wonderful experience with... more

We have traveled to Cabo many many times. This time, we booked our vacation through a friend's timeshare / interval world 'get aways'. The 1st room we were given was immediately next to a room under heavy construction that was 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Additionally, the room was in terrible condition. Paint was peeling from the walls, the TV... more

We stayed in the building looking over the center pool, Room 5302. It was two bedroom, two bath. Kitchenette was very plain, had everything you needed. Coffee pot, stove, room temp fridge, freezer worked. TV gets some movie channels, ESPN news, and CBS out of LA. Room was clean, and very nice house keeper, Maria. Our stuff was safe and... more

We had a top floor unit right on the water - a great view and nice unit. We found this to be a great place to relax, as we had done all the tourist activities on previous visits and just wanted relaxation this trip. Recommend getting a rental car for this location. Restaurant at Misiones (El Companario) was good for... more

My boyfriend and I went stayed at the Misiones during Spring Break in 2006. At that time, while there was some construction, it was not that bad. Our room overlooked the snorkeling beach and the view from the patio area was amazing. We liked having the beach area basically to ourselves every day. The snorkeling was great and at certain... more
