The Riu Palace in Cabo was pretty good overall but I didn't leave with the feeling of being blown away. I really don't have too many complaints to share but it just lacked the overall feeling of paradise or an outstanding stay. My wife and I are very far from snobby or high-class so we aren't picky and try to... more

I spent a week at the Riu Palace with a friend from September 11th - 17th. It was my first resort experience, and I absolutely loved it. The hotel was big and beautiful, the pools and beach were both nice, and there were lots of free drinks to choose from. The entertainment was cheesy, but so very awesome in an... more

The rooms were average to above average, but the grounds were beautiful. The food was good, especially the burgers and fries. I tried to only have one plate of fries, but they were always fresh and hard to pass up. Thank good they had a good gym. The location couldn't have been better. Make sure you get a car because... more

I can not say enough about the Riu Palace Hotel. My wife and I had our honeymoon there from September 19 – 23, 2008. We had a Junior Suite / Ocean View room. I have nothing but good things to say about the Riu. If there is a 5 Star Rating, I would give this resort a 6 Star Rating... more

Visited RIU Palace 09/13/08 to 09/20/08 couple in late 50’s with 20 year old daughter, flew by West Jet out of Toronto what a great all around experience by happy caring employees having some fun at their job, keep it up guys On arrival at the small airport Airlines & Tour companies should come together to ban or at least... more

We have a superstar Travel Agent and she was kind enough to warn my wife and I that this was not going to be the same experience we had on our honeymoon to Palm Island in St Vincent & the Grenadines of the Caribbean. But we had a budget and certain dates we were traveling during. We asked her to... more

This resort was simply amazing. My gf and I went on a 6 day vacation and we were so sad to leave. By the way, pay the extra for the shuttle from the airport to the resort it is worth it. Check in was amazing, the room was clean, bathroom was imaculate. Our ocean view room, was spectacular. I tipped... more

This hotel is dangerous. Many robberies and a history of shootings and a fatality back in May. I urge guests not to book here, especially females traveling in pairs. There are safer countries to visit. Thanks more

The Riu Palace exceeded my expectations. I booked the trip because of the personal experience of my travel agent, but after reading all of the negative reviews I was very concerned. The concerns were unfounded. I've traveled all over the world and also stayed at a number of "all inclusives" throughout the Caribbean. The Riu Palace was better than most... more

I do not understand AT ALL how anyone could write a negative review about this place. Perhaps if we had visited during their busy season things could have been different, but I can say with all honesty that this was THE nicest place I have ever stayed. Had it not been for Hurricane Ike we would have stayed at least... more
