“Just what I needed”

We stayed here because of a recommendation from the New York Times travel section. It was described as the most decent, clean, cheap hotel near the historical center. The price was 450 pesos for two people with two beds on the first floor. For the price it was more than adequate for our needs. Very clean, good cable tv, amazing... more

We tried this place after reading a couple of reviews, but we were disappointed. The first room was dismal, small, and dark. The second room we were shown was upstairs, large, bright, and very hot, but there was water on the bathroom floor from a leaky sink. This hotel was recommended by the school I attended, El Centro Cultural de Lenguas. It is a nice hotel for the price of 28 U.S. dollars for a single.
