This was a pure gamble on our part when we booked the hotel. We knew that the older, non renovated rooms were disaster areas, so when we got to the hotel late, and feared that the only rooms available were the old ones, we were happy to see that the room was a renovated one. We stayed in the "Two... more

We love Banff so much we own an annual timeshare at the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort. There are just two timeshare properties in the whole area, so it is not like other ski towns where you have choice. The Banff three ski areas are amazing and the spring skiing divine. Lake Louise and the ski slopes there are so close... more

We stayed July 2-July 6, 2008. We got an upstairs 2 bedroom and 2 bath condo with the senior discount for $295. It has an outside sitting area and they brought us extra chairs. Our unit was on the same side of the street as the office, newly remodeled (I got the must have for remodeled on this site) and... more

Let me start by saying Banff is BEAUTIFUL and well worth seeing. That said...the Rocky Mountain Resort isn't the best choice of accomodations while seeing it. The staff makes this resort get the two star rating. They are rude, young people who are only in Banff for their summer job. Most were in college and made it clear that they... more

We stayed only one night, but one night was enough. Ours was a one bedroom unit on the ground floor. house keeping was poor. Stained carpets, layer of dust and grit on coffee table and white pot lights were black on top from dust, cobwebs in the corner behind the T.V. The bedding all came apart when it was turned... more

We stayed with our 9 month old in October 2007. We traded in through RCI. It is a nice resort overall, in an absolutely stunning setting, and we had a very nice trip. We had nothing but good encounters with the staff and had no problems with the room, the facilities, or anything else. Here are a few things to... more

My 2 adult brother's & S-I-L meet up in Banff for a family ski trip. (4 tall adults) I read all these reviews before heading up, so I knew what to ask for. We found a steal online - someone getting rid of a time share they couldn't use. Worked out for us! Here's the deal. This place was good... more

Resort is out of the banff's centre, okay if you have a vehicle they do have a shuttle we never used it, location gives quick access to the TransCanada highway to Sunshine or Lake Louise . The rooms were clean, we stayed in a one bedroom suite with a kitchen, by the time you pulled out the sofa bed it... more

Just finished the second week of our month long vacation with TAN and again I have nothing but praise. Banff was a total surprise from what I expected. Having just arrived from a stay in Molokai Hawaii, I was not expecting to be awed by the landscape of a ski resort, boy was I mistaken. The majestic backdrop of the... more

Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom unit at the end of January. The first room we received was an "un-renovated one". It was old, the cupboard was falling of the hinges, the closet door was missing, tiles in the washroom/showers were black. The carpets were stained and dirty. Over all, it was just bad! To top it off, housekeeping... more
