Stayed here for one night and probably wouldn't stay there again. The staff at the front desk were friendly but our room was old. Overall it was clean. Have stayed here before and it was wonderful. I don't know if it's new management or owners but the place has really gone downhill in the last five years. The pop machines... more

This hotel is pretty dated with the furniture/decor/carpet. Coffee maker in room was broken, the shower head was barely hanging on the wall and there was a gaping hole where it did go in the wall. The hot tub was closed down by the health authority....so this was disappointing for sure. Front desk staff were friendly enough. more

The economy in Calgary is very good, which means in a lot of cases service was not good. Every business has a Help Wanted sign. This was evident with most of the front desk people at the Best Western Village Park Inn. There were one or two exceptions, but the others were not the brightest and often just plain lazy.... more

Stayed here for 4 nights in January. The VPI always seems to be full, the price was right ($96/night), and the location was ideal (we needed to be close to the U of C) so we gave it a try. We booked online via the hotel website and were guaranteed a king bed but instead ended up with two queens.... more

I visited Calgary for one night and I only needed a very basic hotel as I wouldn't be spending much time there, so I decided to go with the Best Western Village Park Inn. I booked a room with two queen beds for $120CAD plus tax. The room was clean and comfortable. There wasn't much in it other than the... more

It is quite a long way to the Village Park Inn on Crowchild Drive from the airport but it turned out to be a Best Western Hotel and very nice. We were only staying for one night as our tour of the Canadian Rockies started the following morning. The receptionists were very helpful and gave us the key to room... more

In brief: - Rooms are well maintained and are comfortable and quiet. - Atrium pool. lounge and restaurant are of good quality and work well for adults and families. - Heated underground parking is a big plus. The only negative for me is that this is a very popular location and I usually can't get a reservation at the last... more

Visited Calgary recently to attend a wedding and this was 1 of 2 arranged by the wedding party. It has an enclosed atrium, full restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, and underground parking. (We did not try the restaurant but it looked fine.) Had a very nice queen room on the top floor with loveseat, coffee table, and desk with work... more

Stayed here for one night. It is not in a very inspiring location, just off main highway into Calgary surrounded by motels and fast food places. You need transport from here into downtown too, although there is a local train service that stops nearby. Whole place is set around a central atrium that probably looked good on the plans but... more

I booked this hotel for 3 nights, to attend a conference, but checked out after 1 night. The underground-garage parking door was defective,so we spent half hour trying to park our car at check-in(11 pm). The breakfast promised on booking the hotel, did not materialize. After a long argument with the front-desk,I was grudgingly given vouchers for one person only. The room was... more
