This hotel is pretty dated with the furniture/decor/carpet. Coffee maker in room was broken, the shower head was barely hanging on the wall and there was a gaping hole where it did go in the wall. The economy in Calgary is very good, which means in a lot of cases service was not good. Every business has a Help Wanted sign. Stayed here for 4 nights in January. The VPI always seems to be full, the price was right ($96/night), and the location was ideal (we needed to be close to the U of C) so we gave it a try.
