Wanting a cool getaway from the heat and humidity of Nashville in August, my husband, a couple with whom we travel frequently, and I spent 5 days at the Wickaninnish Inn. It was all we'd hoped for and more. Our rooms had giant soaking tubs in the bathroom window, balconies and large bedroom windows looking on the ocean, plus comfortable... more

We recently stayed at The Wickeninnish and would like to say - Wow! Understated elegance. Everything done perfectly in a laid back, unpretentious style. How refreshing to eat in the very classy restuarant and be able to wear jeans and t shirt if you wanted. We stayed in Room 309 which we can thoroughly recommend for a special occasion. When... more

We just left the Wick after our 5th visit. I don't want to reiterate all of the perfect details of the visit and hotel done by previous reviewers. Rooms are perfect as is the staff and as is the view and as is the location. We also love Tofino. Our concentration this time was the Pointe Restaurant. We found the... more

There is no doubt that the location is second to none. Perched on the rocks at the end of an amazing bay. But you pay top dollar for this and after that it's a bit disappointing. I think this place is just too full of itself and tries too hard to be classy but doesn't get any where near. We... more

We stayed here with three children, and echo all the positive reviews. Great staff, lovely location, wonderful rooms. Only two negatives: lack of a casual dining option; the Pointe Restaurant is a bit much with kids every night, and we found the food a bit too fussy and weren't always happy with what we had. That said, we'll be back,... more

This was our third trip to the Wick. I do not care what anyone says about this place, we love it. Yes it is expensive, but what do people expect to pay for a location like that! There are other oceanfront hotels in Tofino, but none compare to the Wick. Our room was in the original building with a fantastic... more

My husband and I spent four nights at The Wick. The wonderful check in experience was a great start. We were checked in by one person who then carried our bags to our room and showed us around thoroughly - so that we knew from the start that we were provided with umbrellas, rain slickers, blankets for on the deck,... more

I work in the hospitality industry, and a friend of mine naturally asked me where the best place to stay in Tofino is. Without a moment of hesitation I told him, "The Wick Inn". He was planning to propose to his girlfriend, and I knew from working there previously that they'd treat him very well, and go above and beyond... more

Just got back from a stay at the Wickaninnish and while the view and the location was amazing everything else just didnt meet the standards they set with their high prices. When I checked out their website I was sure this was going to be a really nice resort with all the great things going for it. Upon arrival we... more
