We stayed in Vancouver for three days at the end of our road trip across Alberta and British Columbia. The hotel was very centric, just in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. The room was not very spacey, but we managed. It was very comfortable though, and it had all the ammenities we needed. The staff was very helpful and... more

The pictures on the web site made it look charming. My husband and I had booked it so we could have a romantic night before we went on our cruise to Alaska. The front lobby wasn't busy but we had to wait while they finished their personal conversations. We weren't asked if we needed help with our luggage even though... more

I stayed here for 2 nights and I should say I am very satisfied. I quoted 60$ in priceline and got this one. The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly. Room service is great. The hotel is old, so you may find some stuff in the room to be old, but most of the stuff is modern. The... more

As a Vancouverite its not often that you have the opportunity to stay in Hotels in your own city. Having grown up here I had always wanted to stay at this Old Beauty and was pleasantly surprised when the time came. She is an old hotel YES, are somethings dated YES.....but the old world beauty that she possesed in her... more

I relished our stay at the Crowne Plaza, primarily because, unlike other hotels in which we stayed during our Canadian holiday, it had abundant character and a colourful history. If your preference is for a sleek, modern and efficient machine to stay in then this hotel may not be for you. Personally I enjoyed the opportunity to loiter in the... more

Being unable to make a reservation at other places I had to stay here for a night. From the reviews I read here I kind of expected what I would be getting. But everything was still below what one would expect from a hotel. The room was very small and the bathroom was probably about the same size as a... more

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon trip to Canada on our first and 3rd nights. It is an old hotel with a lot of history. The rooms we stayed in (we got different rooms on our two stays) were not huge but fine for two people. Bathroom not massive but perfectly big enough to do... more

This is an old hotel. Rooms are extremely small - barely enough room to move around the bed. Bathroom is microscopic - can barely turn around in there. Almost no counter space. On my bed was a package including "linen spray", earplugs and eye cover - this really made me wonder what i got myself into. Free internet was a... more

What a lovely hotel. Good location for downtown, easy walk to Gastown, Canada Place and the high end stores to shop. The rooms are not really large but are lovely, high count linen, staff is very friendly and the place even has a history book with great pictures telling you the past of this piece of Vancouver history. The internet/business... more
